Depuis 2001, le groupe de recherche Inolivent a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 de nombreux prototypes de ventilateurs liquidiens pour mener des recherches exp\u00e9rimentales. Nos prototypes ont d\u00e9montr\u00e9 leur efficacit\u00e9 lors d&#8217;exp\u00e9riences sur des mammif\u00e8res de 460 g \u00e0 79,5 kg.<\/p>\n<p>La ventilation liquide totale permet une transition remarquablement stable vers la vie extra-ut\u00e9rine dans un mod\u00e8le d&#8217;agneau extr\u00eamement pr\u00e9matur\u00e9. Le perfectionnement de notre ventilateur liquidien Inolivent-9 et de ses algorithmes de commande cible les d\u00e9fis sp\u00e9cifiques de la n\u00e9onatalit\u00e9 en soins intensifs.<\/p>\n<h1>Research in Liquid ventilation<\/h1>\n<p>Large literature data suggest a radical change in ventilator support by replacing the traditional gas mixture with a breathable liquid.\u00a0 Since the 70s, perfluorocarbon liquids have been identified as the best candidates to be used in liquid ventilation due to their high oxygen and carbon dioxide solubility. In addition, they are biochemically stable and bio-inert molecules, available as medical grade products. However, only a liquid ventilator can ensure a safe and efficient liquid ventilation.<\/p>\n<p>Since 2001, we have developed many prototypes of liquid ventilator used to conduct research in liquid ventilation\u00a0 with different animal models.
